NY Gladiators Partner with Insubuy to Strengthen Community Connections for the 2026 Season

The NY Gladiators are proud to announce their partnership with Insubuy as the Official Visitors Insurance Partner for the 2026 season, marking another step forward in the team’s journey of building a strong, community-driven platform around cricket in Westchester.

Over the past few years, the Gladiators have evolved from a weekend cricket team into a tightly connected network of professionals across finance, technology, medicine, and academia. At the center of this growth has been a simple idea - that sport can bring people together, and that these connections can extend far beyond the field.

This partnership with Insubuy reflects that vision.


A Natural Fit with the Community

Insubuy is a leading travel and visitor insurance marketplace, providing coverage solutions for international travelers and families navigating cross-border healthcare needs. Founded to address the challenges faced by visitors and immigrants seeking reliable healthcare coverage, the platform has grown into a trusted solution used by individuals and families worldwide.

Within the Gladiators community, this relevance is immediate and personal. Many players and their families regularly host visiting relatives, travel internationally, or manage healthcare needs across borders. These are not abstract use cases - they are everyday realities.

Leadership and Partnership

The collaboration is further strengthened through the involvement of James Nuttall, who plays a key leadership role at Insubuy and brings deep experience across insurance, operations, and technology-enabled distribution. He currently serves as General Manager at Insubuy and also holds a leadership role within Trucordia, a major insurance brokerage platform in the United States.

His perspective on building scalable, customer-centric insurance solutions aligns closely with the Gladiators’ own philosophy of building a high-trust, high-engagement community. We were also privileged to have Deepak K Sharma, Vice President at Trucordia, join us - bringing with him a wealth of experience in leadership, communication, and storytelling. His presence added a special dimension to the event, and we are grateful for his support.


Dr. Gaurav Jain, tenured business school professor, author, and NY Gladiators team manager, had the honor of presenting the team jersey to Mr. Nuttall.
